+ Cultural Resource Management
This page provides an overview of the cultural resource management plan, which consists of a 10-year programmatic agreement between NASA Ames Research Center, the California State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. The agreement became effective November 15, 2002 and defines the historic preservation management plan for the NASA Research Park, including the Shenandoah Plaza National Historic District at Moffett Field. NASA Ames assumed responsibility for this historic district in 1994 as a result of a property transfer (BRAC) action between the U.S. Navy and NASA.

This page provides the Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) documents. The ICRMP reflects NASA's most current national cultural resources management procedures and standards as administered by NASA's Federal Preservation Officer, as well as the mission and organizational objectives of Ames Research Center.
